Rhythm

Rhythm normally involves the arrangement of shapes. It is a repetition of elements that are the same or slightly modified.

Rhythm helps unify an image or a collection of images (such as interactive interfaces).

Rhythm can also be used to suggest movement.

Repeats a number of visual elements. In this case the dark blue and light blue lines in the sand.

Rhythm

Progressive Rhythm: The shapes change but in a fairly regular manner.

Progressive Rhythm often has an organic feel.
